Recommended Products
Benefits
- Supports uniform dye dispersion
- Reduces agglomeration in suitable systems
- Improves processing stability
- Supports dye and pigment auxiliary formulations
Typical Dosage / Technical Notes
Dosage and grade selection depend on dye type, bath conditions, temperature and compatibility requirements.
How it works in practice
Disperse and vat dyes are insoluble in water, so they must be milled to fine particles and kept dispersed in the dye bath. Dispersants such as Dispersant NNO, Dispersant MF and lignosulfonates surround the dye particles and stop them agglomerating, especially at high dyeing temperatures. The choice depends on heat stability, colour and staining.
- Dye milling: dispersant during grinding of dye presscake.
- High-temperature dyeing: heat-stable dispersants such as MF keep the bath stable at polyester dyeing temperatures.
- Levelling and washing: wetting agents improve penetration and levelness.
Choosing a grade
| Product | Typical role |
|---|---|
| Dispersant NNO | General dye dispersion and levelling |
| Dispersant MF | High-temperature dye dispersion |
| Sodium lignosulfonate | Lower-cost dispersant where colour and staining allow |
| Wetting agent JFC | Wetting and penetration in pretreatment |

FAQ
What is NNO dispersant used for?
NNO is commonly used in dye, pigment and industrial dispersion systems to improve particle dispersion.
Does LigninCorp supply MF dispersant?
Yes. Dispersant MF and related dispersant products are available.
Why are dispersants important in textile dyeing?
They help maintain dye dispersion, reduce agglomeration, improve bath uniformity and support more stable shade development during textile processing.
What should buyers confirm before ordering a textile dispersant?
It helps to share dye class, bath temperature, electrolyte conditions, required shade consistency, dosage range and whether the product will be used in dye manufacture or dyeing operations.
